The Big Read is designed to restore reading to the center of American Culture, and it gives communites the opportunity to come together to read, discuss, and celebrate one of 30 selections from U.S. and world literature. Tom Green County Library's Big Read will take place during the months of January and February 2010, and will feature Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya.
